2021 Eisner Ödülleri Adayları Belli Oldu

2021 Eisner Ödülleri adayları açıklandı. Her sene San Diego Comic-Con etkinliğinde gerçekleşen, Amerika’nın en prestijli çizgi roman ödülü olan Eisner Ödülleri’nde bu yılın öne çıkanları belli oldu.

Bu yıl 190 kadar basılı ve dijital eser 32 farklı kategoride yer aldı. Image Comics ve Fantagraphics, Image Comics adıyla 17 eserle ve Fantagraphigs adıyla 18 eserle adaylığını koymuş durumda. DC Comics’in 9 çizgi romanı (The Other History of the DC Universe #1, Strange Adventures, Far Sector, and Superman’s Pal Jimmy Olsen) aday olarak gösterildi. Marvel Comics ise Black Widow, Daredevil ve X-Men çizgi romanlarıyla 4 adaylığı bulunuyor.

Jonathan Hickman’ın ve Mike Huddleston’ın kaleminden çıkan Decoru, James Tynion IV ve Martin Simmons’ın yazdığı The Department of Truth çizgi romanları ise dört farklı dalda 2021 Eisner Ödülleri’nde aday gösterilerek farklı kategorilerde en çok aday gösterilen iki eser oldu. Gene Luen Yang ise beş farklı kategoride aday gösterilen tek kişi olarak dikkat çekiyor.

2021 Eisner Ödülleri jürisinde ise, Marco Davanzo, Comic-Con kurul üyesi Shelley Fruchey, kütüphaneci Pamela Jackson, çizgi roman yazarı ve yayıncı Keithan Jones, eğitimci Alonso Nunez ve çizgi roman eğitmeni Jim Thompson yer alıyor.
