2021 Locus Ödülleri’nde Kazananlar Duyuruldu

2021 Locus Ödülleri kazananları açıklandı. Bilimkurgu, fantazi ve korku türlerinin en prestijli ödüllerinden birisi sayılan Locus Awards’ın bu yılki galipleri belli oldu.

Locus Bilimkurgu Vakfı (The Locus Science Fiction Foundation) tarafından dijital ortamda gerçekleştirilen Locus Awards Weekend etkinlikleri kapsamında, bu yılın kazananları kamuoyu ile paylaşıldı. Connie Willis’in sunuculuğunu yaptığı ödül töreninde, pek çok yazarla okuma etkinliği düzenlendi, çeşitli panellere yer verildi.

1971 senesinden beri Locus Dergisi tarafından dağıtılan, Hugo ve Nebula ödülleri ile beraber spekülatif kurgu denince akla ilk gelen ödüller arasında yer alan Locus Awards bir yılı daha geride bıraktı.

Adayları geçen mayıs ayında duyurulan ödüllerde, kazanan isimler arasında tanıdık yazarlar da yer alıyor.

En İyi Bilimkurgu Romanı, Türkçede İthaki Yayınları tarafından yayımlanan Martha Wells imzalı Katilbot Günlükleri serisinin 5. macerası olan Network Effect’e gitti. En İyi Fantastik Roman ödülü ise artık fantazi ve bilimkurgu alanlarında her sene en az bir ödül almasına alıştığımız N.K. Jemisin’in oldu. Jemisin’in ödüle değer bulunan The City We Became romanı Great Cities serisinin de ilk kitabı olma özelliğini taşıyor. Yazarın Türkçedeki kitapları Dex Pub tarafından yayımlanıyor.
